The College of Accountancy of the University of the Assumption offers outcomes-based and values-driven programs that prepare students for leadership and professional excellence in the accounting and information system fields. In alignment with the standards of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Accountancy (BOA), the College continuously enhances its curriculum, instructional practices, research agenda, and extension initiatives to ensure relevance in a rapidly changing professional environment. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA)
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) program prepares students for professional practice and leadership in the field of accountancy. Fully aligned with CHED policies and professional standards, the program provides rigorous preparation for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination and other professional certifications.
The outcomes-based curriculum develops strong competencies in financial accounting, auditing, taxation, management accounting, and business laws, while cultivating ethical judgment, analytical thinking, and effective communication. Graduates of the program have gone on to serve as partners, managers, auditors, consultants, finance officers, and educators in public accounting firms, private corporations, financial institutions, and government agencies.
Many BSA alumni hold leadership and key professional roles both locally and abroad, contributing to organizational governance, financial transparency, and public accountability across diverse industries. Their professional practice reflects the College’s commitment to integrity, excellence, and service to the public interest.

Research, Social Innovation, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
Research in the College of Accountancy is purposefully designed to support institutional priorities, professional development, and societal needs, with a clear alignment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Research initiatives focus on themes such as financial inclusion, ethical governance, sustainability reporting, digital transformation, risk management, and community-based financial literacy.
Through research-driven instruction and community engagement, the College contributes particularly to:
