The 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗥𝘅𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, commenced on March 26, 2026 (Thursday), at the University of the Assumption, Monsigñor Serrano Auditorium—bringing together passionate student researchers under the theme “Strengthening Health Systems Through Research and Education.” The morning session set the tone for a day beginning with the registration, opening ceremonies, and the introduction of research panel members and presenters.

We were honored to have 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗔. 𝗢𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗼, 𝗥𝗣𝗵, 𝗠𝗦𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺, Dean of the Institute of Pharmacy at the University of Makati, as our 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿, who shared valuable insights that inspired both students and faculty. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to 𝗦𝘁. 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮’𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗨𝗔 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, and the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, and to everyone who attended—for joining us in this meaningful academic gathering and contributing to the success of the colloquium.

The first session mainly highlights the oral and poster presentations. Showcasing the innovative research efforts of our Level 4 student pharmacists.

Energy and enthusiasm carried on into the afternoon session of 𝗥𝘅𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, emphasizing collaboration, inspiration, and the celebration of student achievements. Starting with the introduction of our esteemed alumni guests, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮, 𝗥𝗣𝗵; 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗧. 𝗡𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗴, 𝗥𝗣𝗵.; 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗜𝗴𝗽𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮, 𝗥𝗣𝗵—who have generously shared their inspirational messages and personal testimonials, motivating future pharmacists to pursue excellence in both practice and research.

We were also honored to have our 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿—𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘇, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗕𝗔, 𝗥𝗣𝗦𝘆, an associate professor from De La Salle University, Dasmariñas, whose insightful discussion further enriched the academic experience of all participants. The colloquium concluded with the much anticipated awarding of winners for the Best Oral and Poster Presentations, recognizing the outstanding research contributions of our student pharmacist presenters.
