CHED Monitoring and Evalation Visit | May 5, 2026

The University of the Assumption (UA) expresses its sincere gratitude to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for the successful conduct of the Monitoring and Evaluation Visit held on May 5, 2026. The University deeply values CHED’s steadfast guidance, support, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence in higher education.

As a committed partner in nation-building through education, UA reaffirms its dedication to working hand in hand with CHED in strengthening academic programs, enhancing institutional facilities, and ensuring full compliance with established policies, standards, and guidelines.

The visit was led by Dr. Bernard S. Pantonilla, Chief Education Program Specialist, together with the CHED evaluation team composed of: Dr. Lyra Anne L. Padrid (Education Supervisor II), Engr. Rico Jay S. Laxa, Ms. Maricris Z. David, Mr. Francis Dominic G. de Guzman, Mr. Arnold V. Damaso, Dr. John Ivan S. Cleofe, Dr. John Wesley S. Calagui I, Ms. Tricia Gayle C. Bondoc, and Ms. Aida S. Gomez (Education Program Specialist II).

The evaluation focused on the University’s facilities, academic programs, and overall compliance with CHED standards as part of its regular monitoring process.

University President Fr. Oliver Yalung, together with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Arnel Sicat, expressed their appreciation for the positive outcome of the visit and reaffirmed UA’s commitment to delivering quality education and upholding its core values in the formation of its students.

The University looks forward to sustaining a strong and collaborative partnership with CHED in developing globally competitive graduates and contributing meaningfully to national development.
