FUTURE FORWARD: Equipping Graduates with Careers, Compliance, and Connections

Day 2 of our 3-day career preparation event focused on Labor Education held on May 26, 2026, at the UA Msgr. Serrano Auditorium, preparing graduating students for the realities and responsibilities of professional employment.
The session was graced by Mr. Jesus T. Evaristo, President of MOKSA, together with representatives from various government agencies who provided essential information for future employees.
Ms. Camille G. Zantua from DOLE discussed workers’ rights and labor standards, while Ms. Anna Liza E. De Guzman from GSIS introduced government insurance programs and employee benefits.
Mr. Reynaldo S. Yaya from PhilHealth explained healthcare membership and medical benefits, while Ms. Anna Liza Q. Nagum from SSS discussed social security membership, financial protection, and employee benefits.
Ms. Chabelita D. Macabali and Mr. Oliver D. Parungao from Pag-IBIG oriented students on savings programs, housing opportunities, and membership benefits.
Through these Day 2 discussions, students gained valuable knowledge on employee rights, government compliance, and workplace benefits — important foundations as they prepare for the real world of work.
