UNBLOCKING INNOVATION: Research & Extension Office Hosts Intellectual Property Training!

Protecting our bright ideas starts with knowing how to secure them! On June 24-25, 2026, the Research and Extension Office successfully conducted a two-day intensive training on Intellectual Property: Patent Search and Drafting at the Techno-Social Innovation-Research University Building (T.S.I.R.U.) Building.
We were incredibly honored to have DR. ADRIAN BON B. SANTIAGO as our expert resource speaker. Dr. Santiago guided our participants through the meticulous world of searching existing patents and the vital steps of drafting patent applications to protect original research and inventions.
True innovation is a community effort. The seminar saw an amazing turnout, bringing together dedicated minds from across our institution: Grade School, High School, College Faculty members, and Non-Teaching Personnel
Thank you to Dr. Santiago for sharing his invaluable expertise, and kudos to all our participants for actively taking part in strengthening our institution’s research and intellectual property ecosystem!
Hail Assumption!
