UA Expertise on the Global Stage: Shaping the Future of Computing

The University of the Assumption continues to advance international academic collaboration as Dr. Joey M. Suba, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs of the School of Technological Sciences and concurrent Dean of the College of Information Technology, delivered a hybrid lecture at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Bandung, Indonesia, on October 2, 2026.

Part of the 72nd International Seminar and Guest Lecture, themed “Shaping the Future of Computing,” the engagement brought UA’s expertise into an international discussion on emerging technologies, computing education, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Suba highlighted the importance of equipping learners with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

This engagement further strengthened the partnership between UA and UPI, reflecting the University’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful connections across borders.

At UA, we prepare students to think globally, embrace innovation, and help shape the future. Be part of an Assumptionist education that connects learning with a world of possibilities.
