Third International Conference on Lantern and Cultural Studies

Day 1 of the Third International Conference on Lantern and Cultural Studies opened on a strong and meaningful note.
In her message, Hon. Vilma B. Caluag, Mayor of the Local Government Unit of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, emphasized the importance of preserving our lantern tradition as a symbol of culture, identity, and community pride.
The day featured an inspiring keynote address delivered by Ms Renee Talavera, Chief of the Program Management Division of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and insightful plenary sessions, bringing together scholars and cultural advocates to share knowledge and perspectives on lantern and cultural studies.

Day 2 of the Third International Conference on Lantern and Cultural Studies continued with a series of engaging parallel sessions.
Held at the Senior High School Library and the Cinense Library Audio-Visual Room, the sessions featured scholars and researchers presenting their studies and insights on lantern traditions, cultural heritage, and related fields. These parallel sessions fostered meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas among participants.
A productive second day dedicated to deepening knowledge and strengthening conversations in lantern and cultural studies.
