Solemnity of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven

Today, the University of the Assumption community gathered in faith and devotion for the Third Day of the Triduum in Honor of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, coinciding with the Memorial of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe and the Rite of Reception of the Mandatum for the Theology and Christian Living Professors.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Florentino G. Lavarias, D.D., Archbishop of San Fernando, Pampanga. With hearts united in prayer, the UA community entrusted the University, its educators, and students to the maternal care of Mary, seeking her guidance in faithfully living out the mission of Catholic education and bringing Christ to the world.
As one Assumption community, may we follow Mary’s example of humble obedience, unwavering faith, and loving service, always proclaiming with her: “He has done great things for me.” (Luke 1:49)
