World Teachers’ Day

In celebration of World Teachers’ Day, the University of the Assumption (UA), Philippines, proudly recognizes the participation of its two exchange teachers, Mr. Alden Garcia and Mr. Cristopher John Lopez, in the World Teachers’ Day celebration held on October 4, 2026, at The Corporate Hotel and Convention Centre in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Mr. Garcia and Mr. Lopez are currently serving as exchange teachers at the University of Finance and Economics (UFE), Mongolia, as part of the academic partnership and international faculty exchange initiative between the University of the Assumption and the University of Finance and Economics.

Their participation in this meaningful celebration reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing internationalization, academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and professional development among educators. The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping future generations, promoting lifelong learning, and strengthening communities through education.

Beyond the celebration itself, the exchange-teacher program serves as a significant avenue for sharing academic expertise, pedagogical practices, and cultural perspectives. The presence of Mr. Garcia and Mr. Lopez in Mongolia represents the University of the Assumption’s continuing commitment to fostering global academic partnerships and meaningful international engagement.
