Behind the Major
BSEd Major in Values Education with Religious Education (BSEd-VERE)
Rationale: In a rapidly changing moral landscape, the world needs “leading formators” of conscience. This program aligns directly with the UA Vision for Catholic Leadership. It empowers educators to facilitate deep spiritual encounters, grounding students in the Truth and the Gospel. We produce Mayap a Talatury who leads the youth toward a life of social responsibility and Christian integrity.
Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)
Rationale: Honoring the body as a temple is a core tenet of our Educational Philosophy. The BPEd program produces leaders in health, sports, and movement. We train educators to promote discipline, teamwork, and wellness, ensuring that the “integral development” of the student includes a vibrant, active, and healthy lifestyle.
BSEd major in English
Rationale: Communication is the tool for spreading the Truth. The English program molds linguistically competent and culturally literate leaders who can engage the global community. By mastering the art of language, our graduates become Biasa communicators who use their voices for Community Service and global understanding.
BSEd major in Mathematics
Rationale: Mathematics is the language of God’s orderly creation. This program trains analytical thinkers who can simplify the complex. We produce Math educators who foster critical thinking and intellectual honesty, proving that being Biasa in logic is a pathway to becoming a Socially Responsible leader.
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd)
Rationale: Honoring the body as a temple is a core tenet of our Educational Philosophy. The BPEd program produces leaders in health, sports, and movement. We train educators to promote discipline, teamwork, and wellness, ensuring that the “integral development” of the student includes a vibrant, active, and healthy lifestyle.
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)
Rationale: The foundation of a child’s future is laid in the primary years. The UA BEEd program is designed to mold generalist educators who are masters of early pedagogy and holistic child development.Rooted in the UA Mission of Integral Development, we prepare teachers to be the first influencers of a child’s character-forming them to be Biasa in fundamentals, Maganaca in guidance, and Mayap in spirit.
